The Stanford Tree Is In Trouble Again


I don't know what's more surprising -- that Stanford has cheerleaders, or that Stanford has a mascot.

And why is the mascot a tree?

In any case, reports Deadspin, The Stanford Tree is in trouble.

And apparently not for the first time.
